OK so we've already had over a week of vacation. Its a bit depressing... i think three weeks would be perfect. So much has happened.. nothing serious but lots of fun with my family. I'll give you a run down starting with last Sunday.
Sunday: went to church... did gift exchange with my family... it was hilarious. lots of stealing... it was part of the game. back to church for Christmas service. and opened more gifts afterward. Good fun day.
Monday: CHRISTMAS!! I went to my Grandma's house for lunch and opened gifts. It was fun. We played Catch Phrase a lot. We went back to my house and played Shanghi (our family game) with all my cousins.
Tuesday: It was my Grandparent's 60th Anniversary party. It was pretty boring we just hung out at church and my dad set up the gamecube to the plasma screen tv in the hospitality room and we played with that for a while and watched Pirates 2. It was an endless time of questions about where I'm going for college and what my first choice and if I'm going to Calvin or not. Kinda annoying.
Wednesday: We went to Ruby's on the pier. it was sooo cold and windy. We almost fell over several times because it was so strong. We then played more games like Shanghi, Settlers of Catan and Acquire. Good fun.
Thursday: Some of us decided to be a bit adventurous and go to LA and show my cousin, who had only been to California once when she was little, a little taste of California... the part of California that is always stereotyped... but that's OK. We set off and drove for a while and Boom! traffic! "Welcome to California!" It took us almost 2 hours to get there. We went to Grumman's Chinese Theater. We looked at the hand an foot prints. it was pretty cool. We saw Kodak Theater and the stars and stuff. We then decided to go to Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive and stare at all the rich people's houses and the Stores that we knew we could never afford anything there. When we were stopped at a light in the small, busy street, i saw this person who looked familiar... i realized she was the girl in Heroes... Eden... the one who died in the last episode. I then proceeded to yell-whisper the news to everyone in the car. my cousin tried to stick his camera out the window but she saw the camera and bolted into the Dior Store. it was very disappointing but hilarious. When I see you later, ask me about the creepy guy i met. its too long to tell here.
Friday: My cousins Brian, Mark, Beth, and Dave, my uncle Neil, my sister and I all went to Knotts. it was sooo much fun. it wasn't too busy which was surprising for a Friday during the Holidays. We went on most of the rides twice. FUN FUN!!
Saturday: Total Veg day! I sat around and watched Prison Break: Season 1. its amazing.
